What is Grok?

Grok is an AI assistant developed by xAI Corp – a company founded by Elon Musk focused on AI research and development. Grok is available:

• Within the X platform (formerly Twitter) – accessible to X Premium subscribers and above
• At the standalone web interface at grok.com – available to SuperGrok subscribers and in some free-tier access
• Through SuperGrok – xAI's dedicated premium subscription with expanded capabilities, higher usage limits, and access to the most advanced Grok features

Accessing Grok on X.

If you have an X account and an X Premium or X Premium+ subscription, Grok is typically accessible from the X interface – look for the Grok option in your X navigation. The specific location and access method may vary by update. Check X's current interface for the current access path.

Accessing Grok at grok.com.

The standalone grok.com interface provides access to Grok without the X platform context. This interface is recommended for extended, focused tasks – research, writing, planning – where you want a dedicated AI workspace rather than the social media context of X.

What distinguishes Grok's access levels.

Generally:

• Higher tiers provide more conversation turns, access to more advanced Grok models (Grok 3 and above), higher image generation limits, DeepSearch, and Voice Mode
• Lower tiers provide access to Grok's core conversation capabilities with usage limits
