Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  • Apply at least eight proven prompt patterns that consistently improve Claude output quality
  • Use hidden Chat interface features including keyboard shortcuts, Artifact controls, and conversation management tools
  • Execute key Claude Code slash commands, keyboard shortcuts, and CLI flags
  • Apply Cowork tricks to make Skills, Connectors, and Routines more effective
  • Build a personal power-user playbook tailored to their specific workflow

After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.

The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.

Course Notes for Instructor Review

This course covers techniques ranging from beginner-accessible (Chat shortcuts, basic prompt patterns) to expert-level (Claude Code CLI flags, parallel sub-agents). Each lesson carries a difficulty label and intended audience statement. Instructor delivery should reflect those differences – do not assume all students will implement every technique immediately. The goal is exposure and awareness: students who know a feature exists can learn it when they need it. Verify that specific slash commands, keyboard shortcuts, and CLI flags are current before delivery, as these change with Claude Code updates. All techniques should be tested in a current version of the Claude desktop app before course delivery.
